CadetReady Privacy Policy
CadetReady is a preparation app for cadet pilot candidates. The app helps users practice speaking answers, interview questions, psychometric-style exercises, document tracking, and application process tracking.
1. Information We Collect
CadetReady may collect or process the following types of information:
- Profile information you enter in the app, such as your name, target airline, English level, certificate status, and daily preparation goal.
- Speaking and interview answers you create inside the app.
- AI analysis results, including scores, feedback, strengths, improvements, and improved answer examples.
- Progress information, such as completed tasks, document checklist status, process steps, and skill exercise results.
- Purchase or subscription status required to unlock CadetReady Pro features.
2. Microphone and Speech Recognition
CadetReady may request access to your microphone so you can record speaking practice answers. The app may also use speech recognition features to convert your recorded speech into text for analysis.
Microphone and speech recognition permissions are used only for app features related to speaking practice and feedback.
3. AI Analysis
CadetReady may send your speaking transcripts or written interview answers to an AI analysis service in order to generate feedback, scores, strengths, improvements, and improved answer examples.
AI analysis is used only to provide preparation feedback. You should not enter highly sensitive personal information into speaking or interview answers.
4. Supabase and Remote Content
CadetReady uses Supabase to provide remote question bank content and backend functions. Some question bank data may be fetched from Supabase so the app can update content without requiring an App Store update.
5. Local Data Storage
Some data, such as your preparation history, skill exercise results, document checklist progress, and app preferences, may be stored locally on your device.
Deleting the app may remove locally stored data from your device.
6. Purchases and Pro Features
CadetReady may offer paid Pro features. Purchases and subscriptions are processed through Apple. CadetReady does not directly receive or store your full payment card details.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Data may be processed by service providers only as needed to operate app features, such as AI analysis, remote question bank delivery, or purchase verification.
8. Children’s Privacy
CadetReady is not intended for children under 13. The app is designed for cadet pilot candidates and aviation career preparation.
9. Your Choices
- You can deny microphone or speech recognition permissions, but some speaking practice features may not work.
- You can delete locally stored app data by deleting the app from your device.
- You can avoid submitting sensitive personal information in answers intended for AI analysis.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be published on this page with a new effective date.
